Appropriate?

It's really interesting browsing through work that other people have done for the same brief.
The person who created these have taken the message 'feel good', and understood it in a more realistic kind of way. They look at 'natural' in the most obvious way, and have used the body to reflect this.

Collage would be a nice technique to use when creating these posters, just like the ones below. It gives the feeling as though they've just been made. Fresh and natural is the vibe you get from these.

Inspiration

I really like the idea of tags on the bottle. They look good, clean and simple.
It's always nice to get a little something extra when you purchase products, so why not a pretty piece of folded card with some interesting information on?
It looks more professional too. :)

(Below) is a nice idea, although it's more packaging based. We don't fancy going down the packaging route, although we're willing to have a go if an idea really takes our liking.

Another good idea would be to do something on the physical side and really put ourselves out there. .. and why not do it dressed as a Feel Good Drinks product?

Feel Good

We thought it'd be a good idea to look at the past work done for this brief.
Debbie Hulme was the winner last year, from which she created gnomes to promote and advertise the product. (Below)

Her work is inspirational as it directs us towards what the company are looking for.
They obviously like the idea of fruit being crushed, which reflects the 100% natural ingredients they've mentioned in their brief.

Quirky flirky

The website looks fresh and bright, which they have tried to reflect from the 100% naturalness of their drinks.
Looking at this style really helps to get an idea as to how our campaign would appear. It'd have a similar style.
The idea of using vectors with photography is very appropriate, and we will be exploring this possibility in more depth.

The website is full of quirky animations. Just by looking at this you can definitely tell exactly what the company's into and likes.

End credits

I find these really interesting. They have a rough yet accurate look about them. I like how they look so neat but have a sketchy appearance.

This is the finished end titles for the film 'Sherlock Holmes'.
Since starting the animation module, I've really found an interest in After Effects.
Although I feel as though I used an interesting approach whilst using the program, I feel as though I limited myself, so I want to try something different. Perhaps I'll experiment and try using the same approach as the Sherlock Holmes' end titles uses.

I also like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang opening credits.
How the image carries on throughout the animation is fascinating and inspiring.

A spot of packaging?

When it comes to the packaging... I want to keep it simple, just like my animation.
I started off looking at the typical packaging dvds come in. It started from a simple plastic wallet type package, to a well constructed, more hands on approach.

I really like the idea of simplicity. A nicely crafted ''box'' containing a dvd with a simple description on the front would work for me. I feel this would work well with my concept.

I then began thinking what kind of typography packaging is available. A more technical, computerized look would work well.

Sound?

I've been thinking about what sound/music to use with my animation.
I don't want something too upbeat, but then nothing too depressing.
I've been thinking something along the lines of mystical and spiritual would fit nicely, so I typed them into Spotify. I've now got a few songs I'm going to apply to my animations to see which fits best.
I could only find one of the songs on youtube.
The video's really quite nice, and it uses techniques I wish to apply to my work.

The other songs I have found;

Kula Shaker - Mystical Machine Gun
Twinset - Mysical Soul
Mystical Sun - Halo
The Bongo Man - Mystical
Gwen Guthrie... - Mystical Dreamer

Clothes labels

I really like how the words work with each other. It's almost as if they've been locked together.

These two pieces were attached together on a piece of clothing.
The simplicity is what I like about the tag below. It's clean, clear and simple.
